Our Meteorite rings are made in the United States and features authentic Gibeon Meteorite from Namiba, Africa. The Gibeon Meteorite is made mainly of nickel and iron. Scientists believe it crashed in Namibia over 30,000 years ago. Gibeon Meteorite is known for its striking Widmanstatten lines. These lines are formed over millions of years to create a crystalline structure exclusive to meteorite, making each pattern in each ring one-of-a-kind.
Fun fact!
Gibeon meteor fragments are no longer available on the market. In 2004, the Namibian government banned the export of the fragments, so only pre-ban fragments are used today in jewelry, making these rings even more unique!
