Hardwood rings are a beautiful combination of natural cut hardwood--ranging from Mexican Cocobollo Wood to Box Elder Burl Wood--and custom formed metal. The process begins with the wood being cut and inlaid into the ring. Then a protective resin is applied over the top of the wood to form a protective barrier and make it look more glossy.
